Extreme Band Wars is an alternative and rock band talent search endeavor that begins at the local band levels and promotes concerts and competitions that will reveal some of the nation’s most talented alternative/rock bands and individual musicians.

There will be one national winning band. Judges will “shop” the national and regional competitions to acquire prodigious individual musicians, selected from eliminated bands, who may be given the opportunity to enter into a live/work environment called the “Hub.” Here the artists will randomly select cohabitating members and will work closely with them to form an alternative rock band and record a CD. The winning band will be judged on…talent, ability to work with others, making deadlines, industry survival savvy, and successful completion of a sellable CD.

The Hub winner will receive a recording contract and $500K.

The winning Band Receives $10,000, Records Opening Track for EBW Online, and Progresses to the Stage 2 Internet Open Stage Competition.

Stage 2 EBW Internet Open Stage (2nd 90 Days)

The winning Band Progresses to Stage 3 Webcast Reality Show with 25 Prodigy Pull Finalists.

Stage 3 The Hub A 24-Hour Webcast (3rd 90 Days)

Finalists enter a live/work environment where they face a series of real world challenges while collaborating to write and record a 12 Track CD. This stage ends in The Slingshot... a Nationally WebCast Live Stage Duel. Watch ‘em work – Watch’em play …music — that is. The winning Band Receives $500,000, a Recording Contract, and a Sponsored National Tour!
