The Hub – EBW’s Reality Television Series

There will be six bands living in the “Hub”. The Hub will be outfitted with ten web cams that will record the daily activities of the bands as they work together to write, produce, and record their CDs. Viewers may observe the daily live/work activities of the bands 24/7. They may blog and correspond with the band members who will tackle the stresses and challenges of the life of an artist. As the national group winner and the five compiled bands cohabitate, they will be allowed to eliminate up to three of their five members. They can recruit once a week from a venue for acoustic talent to showcase. They may also “entice” members from other groups to join theirs. At the end of the three weeks, the winning band will be the one who has successfully composed and recorded a 10-song CD, will have the highest internet listening audience, and will compete in a final, nationally televised concert where the viewing audience will vote on the best group. The winner will be awarded $500,000 in award monies and a recording contract.
